Tall Grass is an experimental documentary and visual art series all about immortalizing our stories, reframing inheritance, preserving the art, and uplifting the individual stories at risk of erasure by a Highway 540 and its anticipated destruction of our community in Holly Springs.

Through various acts of remembrance such as agriculture, wine-making, and seed keeping we can connect to and ground ourselves in our history, reimagine our present, and build a future that honors those before us.
Screenings & Community engagement
Tall Grass first screened at the Nasher Museum at Duke University, as a part of the “People Get Ready Exhibit” in Fall 2018, and made it’s second appearance at Gabrielle’s Grandfathers Mechanic shop turned community theater.
