Micro doc and visual art series based on the preservation of our Land & Knowledge

Tall Grass is an experimental documentary and visual art series all about immortalizing our stories, reframing inheritance, preserving the art, and uplifting the individual stories at risk of erasure by a Highway 540 and its anticipated destruction of our community in Holly Springs.

A story by local Preservationist & Artist Gabrielle Eitienne

Through various acts of remembrance such as agriculture, wine-making, and seed keeping we can connect to and ground ourselves in our history, reimagine our present, and build a future that honors those before us.
