What is a “Share”? Well, it’s our 3-month subscription paid in advance.

Shareholders can expect 7-9 items per box, including a choice of either eggs or mushrooms. You will also receive a special add-on item in every other box. Add-on items are sometimes small gifts from other Black businesses and sometimes special hard-to-find vegetables or fruits.

A share is an investment in the seasonal production cycle of the Farmers we partner with through Tall Grass Food Box. It is an opportunity to spread the risk between the Farmer and the consumer, allowing them to plan confidently and explore specialty produce, knowing they have a dedicated community to support them.

WE PAY OUR FARMERS! In our effort to envision a more equitable and thriving Black local food system, we pay our Farmers retail or approximate retail prices for their produce in wholesale quantities.
