What is a “Share”? Well, it’s our 3-month subscription paid in advance.

Shareholders can expect 7-9 items/box, including a choice of either eggs or mushrooms. You will also receive a special add-on item in every other box. Add-on items are sometimes small gifts from other Black businesses, and sometimes they are special vegetables or fruits that are scarcely available.

A share is an investment in the seasonal production cycle of the Farmers we partner with through Tall Grass Food Box. It is an opportunity to spread the risk between the Farmer and the consumer so they can plan confidently and explore specialty produce, knowing they have a dedicated community to feed.

WE PAY OUR FARMERS! In our attempt to envision a more equitable, thriving Black local food system, we pay our Farmers retail or approximate retail for their produce in wholesale quantities.
