A "Share" represents a pre-paid three-month subscription from June 1 to August 24, during which subscribers receive seven boxes. Each box contains 7-9 items, offering a choice between eggs or mushrooms, and includes a special add-on item in every alternate box. These add-ons include small gifts from other Black-owned businesses or rare vegetables and fruits.

Purchasing a share supports the seasonal production efforts of farmers affiliated with Tall Grass Food Box. This arrangement allows the farmer and the consumer to share the risks, enabling farmers to plan with assurance and cultivate specialty crops with a guaranteed market.

Our commitment extends to supporting a fair and flourishing local Black food system. We ensure fair compensation for our farmers by paying retail or near-retail prices for their produce, even when buying in wholesale quantities.
